Khermen Tsav

Umnugobi province Gurvans soum, Toson bulag branch, is a steppes of 100-200 meters long, 10 km long, stretching to the Neue Khuuvuun Valley on the western tip of Shariin Mountain in Shaari. Khermen crack has been caused by wind and water erosion.

Khermen tsav is one of the beautiful oaks of the Uranus pipes, and the number of tourists who are looking for a magnificent Gobi of Mongolia is growing. In the middle of the Khermen Tsav, many wildlife species such as khulan and wolf were observed. In addition to the growth of zag, elm and saxaul, the Gobi native reptiles, lizards and lizards are common.

Khermen Tsav is one of the largest in the Gobi Desert in Mongolia. Under the supervision of academician R.Barsbold, L.Tativov and A.Rozanov, the Soviet-paleontological joint expedition of Mongol-Soviet research was conducted on Nyen-uulkhuu pipeline, and discovered new sites such as Hörgil tsav and Khongorin mountains, dinosaurs, mammals, insects, many new species of turtles, crocodiles, lakes and aquatic animals and plants. Since then, joint research work on Mongolian Academy of Sciences and foreign paleontologist expeditions has been undertaken every year.

Khermen Tsav is 450 km from Dalanzadgad city and 250 km from Khongor sands. It is also possible to see beautiful places such as Zulganai, Naradaz, Gurvan Tes and Georgetar mountains. It is very difficult to reach the fringes, it is a water-rich, uninhabited, rich dinosaur fossils. It is called a hawthorn, and it is known as the “gate”, it is also known as “Door crack.” It is also a hot spot where temperatures reach +60 degrees Celsius.
